William Amadeo

Mr. Amadeo worked as a full-time journalist before he dedicated his life to criminal defense. As a reporter, he learned how the public reacts to various types of cases and sharpened his investigative skills that he still uses today for his clients’ benefit.

Mr. Amadeo joined Grabel & Associates in 2017 after gaining significant experience as a criminal defense attorney practicing in both Michigan and New Jersey. Previous to his time as an attorney, Mr. Amadeo focused his efforts on helping law students pass the bar exam through a tutoring company called BAT Tutoring. BAT Tutoring was successful in helping many aspiring lawyers achieve their dreams of becoming an attorney. Mr. Amadeo also enjoys being a frequent author to our various Grabel & Associates criminal defense blogs where he examines various points of law and current events. His passion for helping people has helped drive his success as an attorney at Grabel & Associates.

Mr. Amadeo is a New Jersey native. He grew up in Atlantic City and is a graduate of Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Mr. Amadeo earned a bachelor’s degree in communications as he competed on the school’s debate team, leading the way as a captain. He relocated to Michigan to attend law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he graduated and earned his law degree. Mr. Amadeo started his legal career first in New Jersey as was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 2008, and then later earned admissions to the Michigan bar in 2011.

Mr. Amadeo is an active member of:

• The State Bar of Michigan; and
• The Animal Legal Defense Fund.

When he isn’t out fighting for his clients, Mr. Amadeo enjoys spending time with his fiancée and his pets. He is also an avid softball player and attends Cross Fit.
